Raven & Bear Totem

This is carved 3-character totem by John Joseph of the Salish tribe, Squamish band. The piece was created in 1984 and is signed by the artist. Condition is excellent. "John Joseph was born in 1957 in North Vancouver, BC. Learning from uncle Larry Joseph John started carving at age of 14. He used to work a lot with Marvin Baker, his cousins Delmar Joseph, and Darcy Joseph. John mainly uses cedar to carve."
